New Green Beauty Brand Alert! Check Out Saje Wellness

Have you heard of Saje Wellness? They’re kindasorta like the Canadian Aveda, and all of their products, which are cruelty-free, are made using plant-based essential oil blends, with lots of products for your body and your home.

I walked into their new store in Corte Madera the other day and was like, WHOA! — what’s happening over there by that plant wall?

These geometric gems are scent diffusers. You fill ’em with water, add a few drops of essential oil to evoke the mood you want to set (calming, energizing, etc.), and the fragrant mist fills your space.

The store manager (hi, Alexis!) said that the brand started when one of the founders got into a car accident and wanted to find a natural way to manage his pain. The first product they launched (also their bestselling item) is a stress relief essential oil blend called Peppermint Halo Cooling and Soothing Blend for the Head.

When Alexis put a little on the back of my neck and my shoulders, the first thing I noticed was the fresh minty scent. It was definitely there but wasn’t overwhelming (I didn’t feel like I was drowning in a sea of mint!).
